The covers are slightly rubbed & bumped and the gilt has faded from the spine.
[xii] & 150 pages, illustrated with a portrait frontispiece and numerous vignettes by Charles W.
Simpson throughout.
The endpapers are slightly soiled and the front hinge is splitting.
Several dates from December 1954 are repeatedly stamped on the rear endpaper & pastedown.
