The fourth installment of this anthology with short poems and stories for children by Lord Dunsany, Walter de la Mare, Laurence Housman, Rose Fyleman, Hilaire Belloc and many others. There are eight tipped-in color plates by artists including Marian Allen, Harry Rountree and Roy Meldrum and other black & white illustrations throughout the text. A very good copy with light wear. The rear cover has some heavy spotting. The text is very good and clean with light wear. Two of the tipped-in plates have some light wear at the left side. The scarce jacket is worn with some chipping to the top and bottom and to the flaps. There are clear tape repairs to the top of the spine, front flap and on the inside of the jacket at the spine. Foreign postage extra on this heavy book.
