First edition first printing of a very good hardcover with small bumps to the top corners, pages toning, with some minor foxing, a review of the book from the Toronto newspaper "The Globe & Mail" attached to the front pastedown from Dec. 20th 1945, which has toned as well, and the authors obituary from an unknown newspaper, likely also the Globe & Mail from 1949, based on the font, attached to the copyright page along with a notation stating the date of her death after a lengthy illness, and is also toned, in a very good dustjacket with wear and small creases to the extremities A sequel to her previous book "Lefty", featuring Matt Carewe and his collie "Lefty" set in Eastern Canada. In this story the dog is wrongly accused of sheep stealing causing the boy and his dog to leave the community, have many adventures and meet up with his father in Calgary Alberta Canada. This copy is inscribed and signed by the author on the ffep. Very rare especially signed by the author. Young adult fiction
