According to Wikipedia this is the first English edition of this book, translated from the Italian by Una Vinzenzo Troubridge in 1950.
There is no statement of printing but later copies do state a numerical print run, so I believe this is a first printing.
Ivory deckled pages.
Solid square binding.
No defects.
Teal hardcover with silver type and design.
Clipped DJ has a couple of closed tears but is otherwise Very Good, now in mylar protection.
