A book thumbed but cared for by scholars: An early attempt to assemble the state of knowledge on the Druids, their cultural artifacts, lore, and wisdom.
Alternative place of publication: Cardiff (spine only).
Publisher's textured, dark-purple cloth; gilt lettering, top board and spine; price stamped and gilt, top board; buff topstain.
The outwards show general tho' not severe wear, but note head of spine fraying, tail beginning to do so; cloth worn from one corner (photos); topstain faded nearly to nothing; rather nice-looking all the same.
Within, three names of sometime owners, the earliest of which dated 1910 and stating, "From the Author.
" Text block complete, undamaged, and entirely unmarked; but note general tanning to otherwise robust paper stock.
No DJ, perhaps none issued; archival cover supplied.
In sum, VG.
