Large quarto. 10.25 x 12.75 in. xi, 116 pp. Very good in the original blue cloth boards that have some wear and fading along the upper edge. The dust jacket is included in poor condition tucked inside the text, with the front having entirely separated from the spine and chipping and tanning throughout. The interior is clean and free of foxing, and is profusely illustrated with color plates and black & white illustrations. From a limited run of 1250 American copies that are numbered and signed by Peter Scott, of which this is copy number 1096.
