For the anniversary of the Rush, Californian historian, Joseph Henry Jackson, pulled together over 350 captioned pictures, and provided a detailed text, to ""recreate for the modern reader those days of Forty-Nine"". (Modern in 1949, remember!) Signed by Jackson on the half-title. Minor browning to edges and slight softening to head of spine, but a near fine copy in black card slipcase with printed paper labels applied to spine and both sides. Slipcase is worn and rubbed and split along rear spine, but holding firm and still pretty good. JS
