Photographer inscribed in ink on the front free endpaper ""To the Salisburys with all best wishes Henry H. Sheldon July 19, 1948."" With Salisburys bookplate on front pastedown, and Lake Washington Floating Bridge photo caption errata ""six and a half miles long"" crossed out. Holbrook was a Portland writer, popular historian of the Pacific Northwest and a satirical painter under the pseudonym Mr. Otis. Albert and Jane Salisbury were owners of the Superior Publishing Co. in Seattle. Dust jacket preserved in a removable clear archival sleeve.
