Size: 6 3/4"" x 10"" No markings. Red snake skin, gilt stamped title on the front as well as the incredibly dynamic front and back gold block stamping. Patterned red, black and brown decorative endpapers with the bindery label of René Kieffer Reliures. A fine example of this handsome collection of hand-lettered poems by Guillaume Apollinaire, [first published in 1913 which is considered one of the most important works of early 20th-century French literature] in black red and green stamping accompanied by the 20 stunning watercolours of Robert West. A very important work especially so due to the extreme rarity of this edition.
