The first an inscription on the front end paper to friend and notable solo sailor Monk Farnham, at one point the oldest man to sail solo across the Atlantic; the second on a laid in typed letter to Farnham signed in ink by Scott. Orange cloth with black type to spine. The inscription reads - ""To Monk Farnham in memory of a significant trip, Douglas Scott, July - August 1955"".
