Neil Hollander (1939-2021) was an American writer, filmmaker, journalist, and adventurer.
A sociologist by training (Ph.

from the University of Washington), he authored cookbooks, sailing books, and children's tales.
He lived extensively in Europe, Costa Rica, and elsewhere, and collaborated with Christensen on this title during their creative partnership.
