1962 Dover Publications first edition thus. Translated by Owen Gingerich, with a preface by Gingerich and Donald Menzel. The ownership stamp of Harvard Astrophysicist Donald Menzel is on the front free endpaper (see photo). The book was acquired from the estate of Williams College Astronomer Jay Pasachoff. Dr. Pasachoff worked as a Graduate Research Assistant with Dr. Menzel at Harvard during the 1960's. Condition of the book is Very Good Plus. The binding is straight and sound. Inside pages are complete and unmarked. Condition of the dust jacket is Very Good. The DJ is complete, not price clipped. It is protected in a new mylar cover. In sum, a standard astronomy reference source, uncommon in this early edition, and associated with two of the field's pre-eminent research scientists. Standard shipping is USPS media mail.
