Description
Fifth printing of the UK edition from August 1947. First published in the UK by Collins in 1942. Originally published in the US by Farrar and Rinehart in 1941. There is some fading along the top edges of the boards and a little bumping to the corners but otherwise the boards are clean and unmarked. The page edges are browned with one dark spot to the top edges. There is browning to the endpapers and a little browning to the pages with a small stain to the bottom corner of page 7b but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has chipping two quarter inch closed tears to the right edge of the front panel, some surface discolouration and a little spotting to the flaps and to the reverse.
