Color two page plates; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 148 pages; 1925 Macmillan. HC. 1st edition. Soundly bound in full black cloth with decorative binding design to cover in green and gold. Spine titles dulled but legible. Cloth shows light rubbing to corner tips and a trace of fray at the spine foot. Illustrated with bold color endpaper designs and nine double-page color plates after woodcut-style designs by Boris Artzybasheff. The illustrations are rendered in a strong, graphic modernist idiom, drawing on Expressionist and relief-print traditions. VG-
