Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has very slight bumping to the bottom of the spine, with a little ageing and spotting to the page edges. The dust jacket shows just some general shelf wear, with sun-fading to the spine. (See pictures). The book is signed by the author to the title page. The author, with the aid of his two characters Pringle and Daphne Dempster, a couple of young political aspirants, surveys the scene at Westminster and discusses the place itself and the people who work there in detail. At the time of writing, the author was the MP for Chippenham (North Wiltshire).
