With 56 mounted color plates (54 full-page costumes and sets for the Ballet Russes, with letterpress tissue-guards), and a portrait of Bakst by Picasso.
The English edition was published a year later, by Benn Bros, in a limited edition of 1,000 copies.
This copy's front cover is detached but present.
Rear hinge is weak but holding.
Spine paper absent and stitching is shaken but holding nicely.
No loose pages and all tissue guards present.
Plates and lithograph are unblemished and sharp.
A very good copy.
