Bound in a gilt signed Sangorski and Sutcliffe (S&S) full leather coarse grain morocco binding, with gilt titles to black labels, gilt decoration to the compartments, five raised bands, all page edges gilt, some sun fading to the leather.
John Galsworthy was an English author of novels and plays.
He is most known for the Forsyte Saga (1906-1921) and in 1932 was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature shortly before his death.
