One of 3 silkscreens I have listed by the late artist/ UMass art teacher Willoughby Elliott. NIGHT BLOOM A/P Artist's Proof Silkscreen on Arches 88 artist's paper signed and titled by Willoughby Elliott in pencil overall dimensions approx 22 1/2 x 30 ins actual image approx 17 3/4 x 26 ins Elliott was born in California in 1943. He earned a Master s in Fine Arts in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design in 1967 and went on to chair the Department of Fine Arts at the College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he was professor of painting and printmaking. Elliot was a beloved teacher and a prolific artist. Starting out as a printmaker, he was later known for his paintings featuring local landscapes, which he exhibited extensively at galleries and museums throughout New England. Elliott passed on April 12, 2016 at age 72. Mr. Elliott's works have been exhibited around the country and have been accepted to such prestigious shows as the Boston Printmakers, Dakota 100 International Works on Paper, and the Parkside National Exhibition in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He has had numerous one-person shows and has participated in group exhibits and invitationals regionally and nationally and is the recipient of several awards. very good, some tape residue on edges which would be matted out when framed
