Classic girl's book of the era about young Molly, nicknamed ""Marigold"" for her sunny disposition. Solid copy in a decorated red cloth binding. Spine has faded and there is some staining and a couple of nicks to the cloth on the edges of the cover. Front free endpaper has been removed, causing a bit of damage to the matching half on the inside of the front cover. Interior is clean but tanned. Bound in with the book is a 32 page catalogue of other offerings from S.W. Partridge & Co., and an advertising handbill is laid in as well. Please see all photos for condition and contents.
